Build by yourself...an aircraft!

The Cozy MKIV is an incredibly beautiful four seats aircraft that you can build in your backyard by yourself! Maybe it will be less easy than assembling a Billy bookshelf but for sure it will be more interesting! Extreme DIY

This is not design !

Maybe the katana umbrella could be considered cool, but this "rifle umbrella" it is a little bit frightening !
I think that the producer passed the line that separate a good idea from kitsch and dangerous product.
So if you want to walk around with this umbrella do not complain if a policeman will promptly block you face to the ground !

Samsung Gear ancestors, you wont believe your eyes !

Surfing the web I stepped into these two pieces of geek history :
- Seiko Data 2000 which claimed to be the first "smart watch" ever produced
- Fossil Abacus wrist PDA, a Palm pda pushed inside a wrist watch

Obviously those devices were too in advance for their time and were not so succesful, but it is nice to know that somebody was so daring to put in production these futuristic wristwatches.

Crowdfunding ? Nothing new under the sun !

Just some random thoughts about Crowdfunding :
Lately crowdfunding has become a mantra, a divine panacea to solve any problem.
But  public fund-raising have an history as old as the world, in the past, churches, theaters and other public works were fabricated using an archaic version of crowdfunding.
Even the pedestal of the statue of liberty was made through a public subscription organized by the newspaper "New York World" owned by Joseph Pulitzer.
Another example is the construction of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona that is carried out only through the donations collected.
Today the internet makes things extremely easier and anyone in the world can finance projects that are closest to his heart with just a click.
