Maybe I will sound boring, but T3 magazine website included my concept Wacom Sketcher inside their chart "Future gadgets : hottest concept tech of 2011".Simply Incredible !
Year 2011 was a good year for me, but to end it with three products mentioned in the "Best of 2011" was certainly beyond my expectations!

After 4000 years a new umbrella era is come : POPI!
This umbrella solves all the problems related to foldable umbrellas improving comfort and portability.
The handle also works as housing allowing to close the umbrella in it, this brings two advantages:
- handle is larger and more comfortable
- umbrella can be stored anywhere, even when wet
Popi has the same size of a standard umbrella and on the production side has only a small additional cost for the manufacturing of the "handle-housing".
Operation is simple:
just pull the top cap and pull out the umbrella as if it were a common folding umbrella to close it again just do the reverse.
This idea is two years old, making it public I hope to find a company interested in produceing it.
Bamboo graphic tablets are great, but pen it isn't very comfortable... so I did a little tutorial explaining how to modify it in a very easy way. Better balancing and better grip!
The "design genius" has struck again ! Another great product put on market ! New line of switching hubs (5 and 8 ports) for the japanese company Planex Communications. Available also in black.

StyleMyLife presenterà durante il fuorisalone Pratonzolo, divertente portamatite utile a dare un tocco di verde e naturalità alla grigia scrivania metropolitana. Nato da una collaborazione tra Givingshape e Matteo Mocchi di BBMds, Pratonzolo sarà acquistabile On-line da maggio 2011. 
Ad Maiora Milano presenterà durante il Fuorisalone "Risot" un pannello modulare adatto a decorare qualsiasi parete domestica, sia interna che esterna. Risot è ideale come sostegno per piante rampicanti, ma anche da solo permette la creazione di composizioni ad elevato impatto visivo. 
Ho pubblicato on-line il mio ultimo concept, Hyper Touch Guitar. Evoluzione e sintesi di una chitarra elettrica e un sintetizzatore midi in cui le corde e il manico vengono sostituiti da uno schermo multitouch. Tramite il touchscreen, oltre a suonare, è possibile variare qualunque parametro relativo allo strumento musicale : numero di corde, accordatura, numero di capotasti, effetti sonori etc. Il tutto sarà alimentato da una batteria ad alta capacità e dialogherà con il resto della strumentazione audio tramite connessione wireless.
Nel disegno, come in ogni disciplina, l'importante è la costanza e il perseverare nell'allenarsi... e io persevero !
La dimostrazione che gratis e open-source non sono sinonimi di scarsa qualità, Blender e Luxrender permettono di ottenere render fotorealistici a costo zero.
La N.A.S.A. mi ha commissionato la progettazione di mezzi agricoli per le prossime colonie spaziali marziane....non è vero, però mi sono diverito molto a disegnare questi trattori futuribili.
